The Globe Inn Somerton live music from The Rhythm Collective

Please note the date of a forthcoming gig at the Globe Inn in Somerton has been rearranged due to a house-move clash. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The gig was originally planned for Saturday 18 July but is now set to be held on Friday 24 July from around 9pm. A big thank you to Sarah and the rest of the staff at the Globe Inn for helping to rearrange this.

We played at the Globe Inn earlier this year and think it was one of our best ever nights, so are really looking forward to coming back again.

Café bar Joppe with music from The Rhythm Collective covers band

The Rhythm Collective are off to Amsterdam again this weekend for a gig at Café Joppe, in Aalsmeer.

We played at a private party in Aalsmeer last year and on the strength of that performance secured a gig at this local café bar. The Joppe is popular café bar in the centre of Aalsmeer, hosting regular live music events.

We were pleased to see ourselves billed on their Facebook page recently as “an incredibly nice coverband from Glastonbury” (Facebook translation).

We have learnt a couple of new songs especially for this gig and look forward to an interesting exchange on Saturday night. If it's anything like last year, it should be a fantastic evening.
