A big thank you to Amber and Dave at the Ashcott for the massive effort they went to in hosting the Ashstock beer festival last weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and really appreciate all your hard work.

Apart from The Rhythm Collective playing on Sunday evening, there was live music from a number of other bands including: Twisted Vinyl, Redemption and No Worriz, along with several others.

The weather was relatively good and there was an excellent selection of ales and ciders from all over the country, together with good food and great company.

I hope that the event was a big success for you both and hope that we might be asked back to do it all again next year.

New Drummer!

31/3/2016

After playing drums with the Rhythm Collective for over 2 years, Ivor Edwards has now relocated to London to further his career in photography. So regrettably he will no longer be able to continue his role as our esteemed drummer. We very much enjoyed Ivor’s company on all our adventures and wish him all the very best for the future.
So after several tentative weeks of being helped out by a number of interim and dept drummers, we are happy to be able to announce that we now have a new band member on drums; Keith Goodey...

Keith recently relocated to the South West from North London and has many years of experience playing drums with a number of different bands over the years.

We welcome Keith as a permanent member of The Rhythm Collective and very much look forward to playing together in the future.

Our next gig will be at The King William Inn, in Glastonbury, on 16th April from 9pm. Talk about a baptism of fire. "Bring it on!" says Keith.

Our first gig of 2016 is coming up on Friday 19th February at The Street Inn, in Street. Unfortunately our regular drummer Ivor is unavailable, so we have Rhys Moreby taking his place for this and also for our following gig - on Saturday 5th March at the Rifleman’s Arms in Glastonbury.

Rhys is a very experienced and accomplished drummer, playing in several bands in the Somerset area including ‘Brew’ and ‘Bullet Train’, so we are very much looking forward to playing with him.

Also we have added several new songs to our set, so we are looking forward to airing these for the first time very soon. Hope to see you at the Street Inn on Friday night from about 9pm.
